| THE LAST MILE! This par 5 plays slightly down hill and doglegs to the right. With out of bounds stretching all the way on the right and a lateral hazard all the way on the left precision is the key. The driving landing area is protected by 2 bunkers, one off the tee to the left and one on the right at the corner of the dogleg. Be careful not to go too far left as the fairway is plateaued. The lay-up shot requires specific club selection as a bunker right and a pond left must be avoided. Off in the distance you see a dramatic view of Mt. Wachusett as you look down this fairway. If you can manage to stay away from the hazards you’ll be left with a short approach shot to a green that narrows towards the back. The green is protected by a pond short and left, a bunker left and two hollows to the right. |
